A man of power believes that success is the money in his pocket and bank account. The monetary items which he has acquired over time as a sacrifice of others, partnered with the greed to want more. A man consider’s the completion of a degree program, having a family, raising successful children, or the ability to travel and spend at will to be his definition of success.
If success is not a tangible by-product of what one person gains by using another, then what is it?
Today my success is the way I feel since stepping from the blurred lines of the corporate world. Away from the “do as I say, not what I do” world. The choice to keep the fake relationships at bay to prevent them from tainting even my simplest thought. My freedom has allowed me to take in a deep breath and sigh, for I know that no one owns me.
Success is my reality my way, not what anyone can see or have, but how my soul felt as it leapt from the grasp of those that once controlled me. I live free today and everyday. It is my day! I am the definition of success…
